Text Box: Greetings: Sixteen members were present at the June 16th meeting. Congratulations to Unit #537 for their 60th Anniversary of the signing of their charter. Thank you to all members for keeping our Unit strong. 7th District President Sharon Christenson and her mother attended our dinner meeting. Pres. Kuperus, Bev Dresser, and Diane Engelkes attended the 7th District Convention in Willmar on June 7th. Thank you for attending. President Kuperus was elected to serve the 7th District as 2nd Vice. Unit #537 was awarded the Skallerud-Olson Public Relations Traveling Trophy along with the 7th District award for Public Relations. Thank you to Lydia Finsaas for representing our Unit at Girls State.  She will be attending our November meeting to tell us all about her experience. Elected officers were installed by Pres. Christenson. Congratulations to you all.  Membership pins, field service pins, and home service pins were presented. Get well wishes go to Shirley Hanson and Gertrude Fluck. Our sympathies to Donna Sarsland and Marion Ruplinger. Congratulations to Heather Urban on her marriage on June 28th. Thank you to Sue Anderson and Becky West for delivering clothing to the St. Cloud VA donated by Greg Watzke, Laurie and Keith Hanson, and Genell Grund. Thank you also to Gertrude Fluck for a fleece blanket. Please keep all of our veterans, military personnel, and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
